Design and Calculations
Layout plan, load and connection calculations, and materials specification.
Request a QuoteBuilding a verifiable design
Design connects site geometry, assumed loads, materials and operations in one layout. Connections and foundations are assessed with the frame; a strong component cannot compensate for a weak joint. Specific impact scenarios need their own evidence.
What we clarify
- Record measured dimensions and placement constraints.
- Define load combinations and requirements for structural elements.
- Check access for inspection, repair and replacement of individual panels.
What the designer checks
After measurements, the designer sets support locations, spans, connections and foundations. Steel elements require strength and stability checks, while site loads include combinations such as wind and snow. SP 16.13330.2017 and SP 20.13330.2016 cover these design topics.
What the client receives
The output is a layout, calculations, materials specification and working documentation. Resistance to a particular strike cannot be inferred from material thickness or mesh opening alone: it needs its own criterion and evidence for the complete structure, including supports and connections.
