Estimate and Contract
Quantity-based estimate, work schedule and site access arrangements.
Request a QuoteMaking an estimate comparable
A useful estimate separates structures, foundations, delivery, installation and ancillary work. This shows the client what is included and which assumptions still need verification. Site changes after the survey affect scope and schedule.
What we clarify
- Define protected areas and the boundary of each work phase.
- List fabricated elements, foundation preparation, delivery and installation separately.
- State site access conditions, approvals and schedule assumptions.
What determines the estimate
Quantities follow measured conditions: the number of supports and panels, barrier length, foundation work, delivery and installation constraints. An initial discussion helps select a direction, but a final estimate relies on the layout and specification.
How the schedule is set
The contract stage agrees work phases, site access and the sequence of manufacture and installation. At an operating plant, work zones and periods when lifting equipment can use production routes should be agreed in advance.
Project Stages
Survey
Engineer visit, measurements, identification of vulnerable areas and protection priorities.
Design and Calculations
Layout plan, load and connection calculations, and materials specification.
Manufacture and Installation
Fabrication of steel components, delivery and phased installation within agreed work windows.
Handover and Maintenance
As-built documentation, structure certificates, scheduled inspections and repairs.
