Preparing an industrial site

The protective layout is best discussed with process and maintenance teams. They can identify connected assets, loading and repair routes, and areas that must remain accessible every day.

What we clarify

  • Mark equipment whose outage would interrupt adjacent lines or production output.
  • Show vehicle routes, lifting areas and maintenance access.
  • Agree where installation can take place only during planned operating windows.

Which areas come first

A survey starts with equipment and areas essential to the workshop: exposed process units, compressors, roofs, finished-goods storage and dispatch. These assets are mapped against the site's operating pattern. This helps prioritize protection by the consequences of damage rather than by covered area alone.

Fitting protection into an operating plant

Canopies need checked spans, mast locations, vehicle routes and maintenance access. Local barriers may suit individual units, while personnel shelters belong near work areas. The final layout needs measured site geometry, load calculations and agreed access arrangements.

How to Prioritize Protection

Start with assets whose loss would affect output and dependent lines. Compare the consequences with access for installation: routes, maintenance zones and permitted work windows. This supports a phased plan without assuming every activity can continue uninterrupted.
